The doctors and scientists at JOHNS HOPKINS MEDICINE are on the verge of discovering bold new cures for cancer, heart disease, diabetes and a range of other inherited diseases and other medical issues. New state-of-the-art facilities needed to be built to facilitate the extensive research projects to make all of that possible. We were asked to help raise awareness of the work Johns Hopkins was pursuing, so that they could raise funds needed to build the new buildings on their medical campus.

 

Our solution was to present people with the some of the world’s most extraordinary people who have contributed so much to humanity, each in their own way. They were individuals whose lives were cut short by the diseases that Johns Hopkins is on the verge of curing. We asked the question, what if those people had a couple more years to live, how much more could they have accomplished. And what if you had a couple of more years, how much more could you accomplish?

 

The campaign consisted of TV, print, website, banners, direct mail and fundraising events. Here are some of those elements:

Magazine ads and TV spot drove people to a microsite, where they could meet the research teams and hear about their incredible breakthroughs. Here is just a sample of the videos.

This collateral piece was sent to potential donors who would be potentially be involved in the fundraising programs for the progress of Johns Hopkins Medicine.

 

THE RESULT

 

Construction of the facilities were completed within the year.
